Home Biography Teaching Hobbies Links Software Web Log	Hobbies I have several hobbies. One of them is, as you might have guessed, computers. In my case, I spend most of my free time doing some programming and playing some PC Games. In the programming area, I'm always trying to learn some new language or some new technology. My favorite language is C++. That's because I find it flexible/powerfull enough to be used in all kinds of projects. One of the technologies that is (currently) getting my attention is .Net! Microsoft has already released version 1 of this framework. It's a really nice framework which simplifies development. With it, Microsoft has released C#, which is new programming language based on Java/C++/VB. I'm currently trying to get a grip on this framework. In the games area, I'm really a fan of Fifa 2002 and Colin MCrae 2. Nowadays I'm waiting for the arrival of my new PC so that I can play Medal of Honour (I've been told that this a 2nd World War version of Quake, with lots of cool stuff!). As you may already have guessed, I'm also a fan of Quake 1, though I stoped playing it about 2 years ago (however I still feel that this game is a classic). I'm also keen on sports. I've practised some Jeet Kune Do and some Kickboxing in the past. I also enjoy playing soccer. Nowadays I really don't have a lot of time for doing these activities (oh, sometimes I really miss it!). However, I still find some time to watch the soccer games of my favorite teams: S.L.Benfica and C.S.Maritimo! Oh, and I was almost forgotting that I also hang out (a lot) on internet and IRC. You'll find me under the nick theKINGCOBRA, on channel #play (you'll have to connect through a portuguese IRC server though). If I don't reply to you right away, then it's better to try it later because I'm (surelly) away.
